Bilstein 6112 1-3.5" Lift System - 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner
| Part Number Options | Position | Item | Quantity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 47-310025 | Front | Coilover | 2 |
| 33-313146 | Rear | Shock Absorber | 2 |
Shock Surplus assembles the Bilstein 6112 shocks and springs into a single unit, set to your specific ride height. Whether you want to level your 4Runner, or leave it as close to factory height as possible, new top mounts and years of experience assembling shock towers like this will make sure everything lines up properly on install day.
We offer numerous customization options from Upper Control Arms (recommended), to rear coil springs that improve the capability of your 4Runner. Rear spring options vary from a minimal 1" lift in case you want to remain as close to stock as possible, while buffering the rear suspension to not sag as much under heavy load. Or go as high as 3" with the Icon Overland springs for carrying heavy or extreme loads, while maintaining enough ride height in the rear to keep the vehicle level once loaded.
When lifting or leveling the front end of your 4Runner, by raising the front 1.5-2.5", this will gradually remove the 'rake' from the rear to the front.
A big question is whether to go with the 5100 or 5160 Reservoir shocks in this package. The 5160s only excel in the dirt and at moderately quick speeds in rough terrain - this is where shock heat is generated - and where the reservoir comes into play by keeping the oil cool. On-road and pavement behavior between the 5100 and 5160 is not noticeable to most drivers, so for a daily driven rig that sees occassional weekend adventures - grab the 5100s. If you're in the dirt often, and like to get rowdy offroad often, the 5160s will provide some benefits.
